EMPOWERMENT:FORMER GOV.,OGUN SSG OTHERS GIVES RECIPE ON BUSINESS SUCCESS

Captains of the Organized Private Sector in Nigeria have gathered in Sagamu ,Ogun State to share thoughts and life experiences with prospective youth entrepreneurs on the fundamentals of successful  business in life.
   Leading the Pack of speakers at a leadership empowerment conference organized by the Sagamites Club in Sagamu ,Former Governor of Ogun State and Chairman ,Kresta Laurel Group ,Otunba Gbenga Daniel ,who recounted his early days as a young man aspiring for success ,noted that attaining success in life requires that individuals should be determined and focused to do things in an usual manner that would attract opportunities for development ,adding that there was a dire need to be consistent, thorough and above all ensure to be proficient in daily dealings.
  Also speaking ,Secretary to Ogun State Government ,Mr.Olatokunbo Talabi, who had a successful career in the Private sector ,as an investment banker, said that there was need for prospective young minds to start business early in life with particular reference to developing, identifying and transforming their God given talents for business success in life.
 Mr.Talabi, who also recounted his early days as a young and vibrant individual with great entrepreneurial skills ,charged youths not to despair, but should remain resolute towards making a headway in life.
   Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AIRTEL NIgeria Plc ,Mr.Segun Ogunsanya who narrated how he rose to becoming a CEO at age 33years without a godfather influence,maintained that there was a relative need for youths to always thirst for knowledge and success at all times. admonishing them to always endeavour to share idea ,and should banish fear outrightly from their hearts in order to be relevant in life.
  Earlier in his welcome charge ,President of the Club and former Managing Director of Guinness Nigeria plc ,Otunba Seni Adetu said that the leadership empowerment programme was concieved to create a forum for Sagamu youths to experience practical leadership through case studies appraisal of highly credible and accomplished business leaders in various fields of human endeavors ,adding that it was also meant to empower 10 young indigenes with cash awards to the tune of N250,000 to kickstart their business ideas.
  High points of the event were the presentations of laurels to deserving individuals who have impacted the society in different field of endeavors.
