The appointment of the newly sworn in Head of Service in Ogun State has been described as a product of merit, diligence, and careful consultations.
Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who stated this during the swearing in ceremony of the Head of Service, Mrs. Amope Ajibola Chokor, held at the exco chambers of the Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, urged the new HoS to emulate the great landmark and legacy of the past Heads of Service.
The Governor noted that the public service was the core engine room of government, charging the HoS to incorporate her wealth of knowledge and experience in the discharge of her duties.
While responding, Mrs. Chokor appreciated the Dapo Abiodun led administration for finding her worthy as the Head of Service, pledging her support for the government and to dedicate herself to the pursuit of excellence, through the help of God and the entire workforce, so as to attain greater height.
The Olota of Ota, Oba Obalanlege, thanked the Governor for the opportunity given the new HoS to serve, saying, Ota-Awori people will forever be grateful.
