The former Head of Service, Engr. Lanre Bisiriyu has appreciated Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for bringing sanity into the Civil Service through recent appointment of Head of Service and Permanent Secretaries.
Engr. Bisiriyu, who stated this while being honoured for his dedication to service by Association of Chief Executives of Parastatals and Government Owned Companies, at MITROS House, Ibara, Abeokuta, applauded the Governor for choosing a new Head of Service, who could deliver and achieve the objectives set by his administration.
The retired HoS enjoined workers to align with the vision of government on Public Private Partnership and think out of the box, to take the State to an enviable height.
On her part, the new Head of Service, Tpl Amope Chokor, promised to work relentlessly to tackle issues brought before her, to ensure improved welfare for workers, congratulating her predecessor for the honour bestowed on him by the group, with a pledge to sustain the standard already set.
“It is the right thing to honour our heroes and Engr. Lanre Bisiriyu has done well for Ogun. We shall continue to improve on the standard set, I believe in God that our workers will have cause to smile in the New Year 2020”, she said.
In his opening remark, the Chairman of the Association and the General Manager, Ogun State Television (OGTV), Mr. Festus Kehinde said the event was organised to appreciate Engr. Bisiriyu for touching the lives of workers positively, and his support for the General Managers and Chief Executives of Government Parastatals and Companies.
