Ogun HOS applauds Governor Abiodun on Prince Court Workers Estate

Ogun State Head of Service, Tpl Amope Chokor has showered encomium on the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for fulfilling his promise on provision of affordable homes for workers at Prince Court Estate, Kemta, Idi- Aba in Abeokuta.
Mrs. Chokor who stated this while on supervision of the Estate being built by the Government, said that the project would be delivered to successful staff by May 29, 2020, to mark the Governor’s one year anniversary in office.
She said that the Governor has also approved the reduction of interest for assessing the houses through mortgage facilities from 18% to 6%.
” We want to thank our worker friendly Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for this laudable project. He has approved that those of our officers who will be assessing mortgage facilities will enjoy a reduction from 18% to 6%. And we have been assured that the houses will be delivered to successful officers by May 29. So, for workers who have applied, the project is real” she said.
On his part, the acting General Manager, Ogun State Housing Corporation, Estate Surveyor and Valuer, Ojo Akinwale, said that, the project is the development of 250 units affordable homes for workers.
He explained that, they are presently working on 100 units mixture of 3 bedroom detached and 2 bedroom semi- detached, which started about 8 weeks ago and 65 to 70% completed to be delivered as promised.
