Special Adviser and Director General, Bureau of Lands and Survey, Mr. Aina Salami has call on political and career officers in the Bureau to maintain cordial relationship among themselves and make positive changes irrespective of their career, in order to contribute their quota to enhance productivity.
He stated this during a send-off organised by the Bureau in Abeokuta in honour of the immediate past Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Lands (SSA, Legal) Hon. Justice (Dr.) Oriyomi Olukolu, recently elevated to the post of a High Court Judge in Lagos State.
Salami described Justice Olukolu as a resourceful and productive man, who had contributed immensely to the success of the Bureau in the short period of his stay, noting that a good working relationship with others must be nurtured by staffers of the Bureau.
In their separate remarks, Special Assistant to the Governor on Lands, Mrs. Funmilola Asiru, eulogised the former SSA as an intelligent colleague, who effectively discharged his duties and dispense justice without fear or favour, while the Director, Lands services, Mr. Fatai Adeboyejo described him as “a man of many parts” whose short stay in the Bureau was memorable as a result of his feats and interaction with others.
In his response, Hon. Justice (Dr.) Olukolu who appreciated the staff and management of the Bureau, attributed his success to the cooperation enjoyed while thanking them for organising the event, said they should be focused and dedicated to their duties.
