In order to further strengthen the administration of justice in Ogun State, the Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has sworn-in Hon. Justice Oluwabamise Oludayo Osunfisan, Hon. Justice Olusola Stephen Oloyede and Hon. Justice Olatunde Hassan Oyajimi, as Judges of the State’s judiciary.
The Governor, after the swearing in held at the Governor’s Office, Abeokuta, during the Executive Council meeting, charged the new Judges to discharge their duties without fear or favour.
Re-emphasising the need for quick dispensation of Justice, as one of the most important responsibilities of the Bench members, he urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them and perform their duties by ensuring that the glory of judiciary in dispensing fair and prompt justice is restored.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after the ceremony, the State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu noted that with the atmosphere created by the State government, Judges are bound to deliver effectively.
One of the newly appointed Judges, a former Director, Public Prosecution, Justice Oludayo Osunfisan, after taking the judicial oath and the oath of allegiance, pledged to join hands with the Chief Judge and the Judiciary to ensure that the sector performs maximally according to expectation.
