Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele has charged members of the Nigerian Institute on Management (NIM) to continue to uphold the ethics of their profession inorder to be better and accomplished managers.
Engr. Salako-Oyedele, who stated this while playing host to Members of the Institute, Abeokuta chapter, who were on a courtesy visit to her office, said that an inate managerial skill is required for effective execution of any undertaken activity
” Effective Management is very important to us as government and that is why we have what we called delivery unit that cordinates all government projects to ensure that monitoring and evaluation is done and we can deliver on our agenda to people” she said
The Deputy governor however appreciated the body for their contributions to the development of the state and country at large
Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman, Abeokuta chapter (NIM), Pastor Adebayo Osinaike, stressed the need for proper management of resources especially with the ravaging effect of the COVID-19 pandemic all over the world, adding that as members who are managers, more will be done on their own part as the mother of professional body.
While appreciating government for their support in all aspects, he expressed the institute unalloyed support towards the success of the present administration led by Prince Dapo Abiodun.
