OGSG Gives Approval For Construction Of Sango-Joju Road

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has announced approval for the construction of Sango-Joju road in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area, to bring succour to the people, just as all roads leading to farm settlements will be rehabilitated.

Governor Abiodun stated this during the flag-off of the reconstruction of Atan-Lusada-Agbara road in Lusada, acknowledged the importance of infrastructure to the development of the State, particularly the rural communities, as it serves not only the State and Nigeria, but also a linkage to many West African countries.

Governor Abiodun said his administration adopted a participatory approach in the construction of roads, restated that all inherited projects that have impact on the lives of the people would be duly completed.

 Speaking on the turning of sod of the reconstruction of Atan-Lusada-Agbara road, the Governor maintained that the road was the choice of the people of Igbesaland, calling on the people to take ownership of the project, as the contractor handling the road would be made to provide job opportunities to the youth of the area. He said ‘’the road was in fulfillment of my campaign promises I made to the people, and I want to appreciate you all for your support”.
