Ogun State Internal Revenue Service has been given a marching order to redouble their efforts increase the revenue performance of the state and meet up with the set target.
The governor gave this mandate while listening to the presentation of the proposed budget of the agency on the second day of Treasury Board Meeting on Year 2022 to 2024 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and 2022 Budget.
Ogun Internal Revenue Service was the first to make presentation with a revenue target of one hundred and twenty billion as ministries of forestry, transportation and others also presented their proposed budget for 2022.
Presenting the budget of the ministry, commissioner for agriculture Dr Adeola Odedina said the year is marked as the commencements of so many international agriculture projects that will make the state proud as Ogun state Agricultural Development Corporation got the commendation of the governor for surpassing expectations.
General Manager of Ogun state Agricultural Development Corporation Mr Bolu Owotomo and OGIRS Chairman Mr Gbenga Olayeye speak on the plan for the budget year.
This is providing a roadmap that will serve as a guiding principle for the state in the year.
