The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) will hold a stakeholders’ meeting on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Yewa North Local Government Secretariat, Aiyetoro, at 1:00 pm prompt, as part of the electoral process to conduct a Bye-Election into Joga/Ibooro ward 5, in the council area
A release signed by the Chairman, OGSIEC, Mr. Babatunde Osibodu stated that the bye-election which has been scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2022, become necessary due to the death of a former elected Councilor, Hon. Isiaka Ogundele.
The release indicated that the election timetable and guidelines for the Bye-Election would be unveiled in due course.
It enjoined all duly registered political parties, wishing to participate in the Bye-Election and other relevant stakeholders to attend the meeting.
