Government has assured that there won’t be room for examination malpractices during the ongoing West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE), through proper supervision and sitting arrangements throughout the exercise.
The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof Abayomi Arigbabu revealed this during the monitoring exercise of the WASSCE Mathematics examination to Ilaro, the Yewa axis of the state, he posited that government would not tolerate any form of malpractices or unruly behavior that would frustrate laid down efforts.
Arigbabu while encouraging the students to be determined and focused, said they should do away with examination anxiety, posited that with preparation and hardwork, success is guaranteed.
“We are here to monitor mathematics examination today, and from the sitting arrangements and the supervision we have on ground, I can assure you that there will not be room for malpractices or any untowards behavior that will jeopardize government efforts”, he said
The commissioner assured that government would continue to put in place measures that would provide conducive learning environment for learners to thrive.
