100 Ogun State contingents are set to participate in the 2022 edition of the National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFEST), scheduled to commence today, Monday, November 7 to November 13 in Lagos State.
Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo made this disclosure in Abeokuta, during a meeting with the State’s NAFEST stakeholders, noting that the Ogun was prepared to actively partake in the week-long annual festival, themed: “Culture and Peaceful Co-Existence”.
Hon. Adeleye-Oladapo said ‘’the State has 100 contingents that will participate in different competitions, to showcase the cultural endowments of the State and unite the nation through Arts and Culture’’.
Appreciating the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his unrelenting efforts in promoting culture, the Commissioner said the contingents would make the State proud, while appealing to them, to put in their best to maintain the status quo of being the best in previous Arts and Cultural festivals.
