We’re Committed To Teachers’ Prospects, Development -Ogun TESCOM Boss

The Ogun State Government has said that teachers’ prospects and development remain sacrosanct to the present administration, in order to improve their academic prowess.

The Chairman, Teaching Service Commission, Evang. Olalekan Ifede disclosed this while addressing the teaching and non-teaching staff of  Remo High school at the promotion interview venue in Ijebu-Ode.

Ifede said the Prince Dapo  Abiodun-led administration had been  supporting the smooth running of  schools since his assumption of office, noting that the  Commission had conducted several promotion exercises, making it a pace setter for other States to emulate.

He stated that “Gone were the days when teachers were relegated, but this government has placed prominence in making teachers actualise their dreams. I want to  assure you that the government will pay all  the entitlements owed, to put a smile on your faces  while you go to banks”.

Ifede who commended Governor Abiodun for his effort towards revolutionising the education sector which is yielding great results, affirmed that it was imperative for teachers to reciprocate the government’s gesture by being diligent, hardworking and committed to their official duties.

Responding, some  of the teachers werpart of the promotion interview, Mrs. Adebusola Ajiboye and Mr. Adeniran Joseph expressed  gratitude to the Governor for his magnanimity towards teachers’ welfare and upliftment.
