Arabel films pitches Rahama Sadau against Maryam Booth in The Two Aishas

Kannywood star acts Rahama Sadau and Maryam Booth have been pitched against each other in The Two Aishas, a new feature scheduled for April 24 release.
The riveting film from the stable of Arabel Productions is distributed by Filmone and showcases the beauty of Islam and culture, while addressing relatable themes such as forgiveness, betrayal, love, rivalry and piousness.

The film also features Paul Utomi, Akeem Ogara, Shushu Abubakar, Nyma Akashat-Zibiri and Sulaiman Aledeh among others.

The Two Aishas tells the story of two women of the same Islamic faith and status who are married to two best friends. Their loyalty and friendship got tested and no matter how they look at it, one party felt robbed and betrayed by the other, threatening to tear apart an enduring friendship from childhood and test their faith as devout Muslims.

The film is a brainchild of top Nigerian fashion star Shareefah Abiola Andu, who is known as the face behind the popular Islamic merchandizing brand, Arabel.

Speaking about the movie, Abiola Andu said, “Arabel is beyond excited to constantly find new expressions to elevate the beauty of Islam and celebrate our culture. ‘The Two Aishas’ provided a new opportunity for us to do what we have been known for, this time through the lens of filmmaking. This marks an exciting new journey for Arabel and we are absolutely thrilled to share the output of this beautiful experience with the rest of the world. I believe that everyone would be proud of what we have created.”
