Indications have been made that dynamic programmes and policies of the current administration have continued to reposition the gateway state for greater socioeconomic development.
The Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele stated this, this Thursday while playing host to the planning committee members of the Nigerian Public Relations week led by the chairman, Chief Yomi Badejo-Okusanya.
The Deputy Governor who noted that Ogun state has become a destination of choice for local and foreign investors,added that Governor Dapo Abiodun is committed to enhancing the development of the state,especially through road infrastructure.
While expressing delight that the state is open to people to live, work and play, courtesy the efforts of the government, Engineer Salako-Oyedele lauded the choice of Abeokuta for the hosting of the Nigerian Public Relations week which according to her is an indication that Ogun stands out among its peers.
She assured the planning committee of government support towards the successful hosting of the week,saying public relations is key to influencing public perception.
In his remarks, the NPRW Planning Committee Chairman, Chief Yomi Badejo-Okusanya said purpose of the advocacy visit was to intimate the government of the activities lined up for the Public Relations week as well as seek its support, noting that different tourist locations in state will be visited during the week scheduled to hold between the 22nd and 26th of April.
