Ogun State Education Team, led by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu has commiserated with the family of Late Special Adviser to the Governor on Technical and Vocational Education, Prof. Joseph Odemuyiwa, saying the news came as rude shock.
Prof. Arigbabu accompanied by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo and the Chairman of Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), EVANG. Olalekan Ifede during the visit to the deceased residents in Ilisan, described late Odemuyiwa as problem solver and epitome of knowledge, especially in the area of technical and vocation skills acquisition.
The Commissioner said the deceased was known for his professional contributions towards the development of technical education in Ogun State, saying his oratory prowess and expertise experience would be greatly missed by everyone.
He promised the full involvement of other education team of Prince Dapo Abiodun at the time of his burial, praying that God will grant the family fortitude to bear the loss.
Responding on behalf of the immediate family members, the son of the deceased, Architect Odemuyiwa appreciated the visit of the education secto, as he promised to intimate them with burial arrangements at appropriate time as scheduled by the family.
