As part of effort to cushion the effect of economic hardship on the people, the Ogun state Government led by the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has distributed notable amount of Rice palliatives to Ijebu-ode Muslim Faithfuls.
Speaking during the distribution of the pallative, the Chairman of Ijebu ode Local Government Area, Hon. Babatunde Emilola-Gazal said the distribution of the palliatives was timely, saying it will enable people to celebrate the 2024 Eid-El-Fitri with food on their table.
Also speaking, the Consultant to Ogun State Governor on Media, Comrade Tunde Oladunjoye said the Rice palliatives was the fulfillment of the promise made by Governor Dapo Abiodun to cushion the effect of Economic hardship on the people of the State.
Fielding interview with newsmen, some of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Akorede Kafayat and Mrs Taiwo Abdul stated that the donation will go a long way to cushion the effects of the economic hardship on them.
