Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has been described as a blessing and an agent of comfort and tranquility to the entire people of the State, through the provision of various palliatives such as EduCASH, Free Surgery and Food Palliatives to people.
The Chief Imam of Ikenne Muslim Community, Alhaji Hussain Kehinde during 2024 Eid-Fitri Celebration and distribution of Prince Dapo Abiodun Rice Palliative to the Muslim Faithfuls of the community, referred to him as an embodiment of love, kindness, humanitarian gesture, worthy role model and advocate of religious harmony.
Imam Kehinde also said “the generosity of the Governor was in tandem with the message of Ramadan which is love, kindness, forgiving one another and giving to the less privileged. This good acts from the Governor will invoke the blessings and great rewards from Allah.
Alhaji Kehinde noted that the kind gesture of Governor Abiodun is worthy of emulation, even among the genuine believers, urging the congregation to extend their kindness to people beyond the period of Ramadan.
Appreciating the Governor on behalf of the community, the Chairman of the Muslim Community, Chief Kayode Sofela, represented by the Seriki Adini of Ikenne, Chief Adekunle Sofela and the Secretary General, Chief Isiaka Okunuga submitted that the generosity was apt at this time of auspicious time, especially when people are looking for succour either from government or individual.
Expressing their satisfaction towards the distribution of the rice pallative, Alhaji Segun Saulat and Ibrahim Adamu, a disabled Hausa man commended the present administration in the State for being committed to the initiatives that engender individual prosperity.
Also, the female worshippers, represented by Alhaja Memubat Jimoh, Nofisat Adelaja, Saratu Sofela while commending the Governor for the initiative that will linger on in their memories, stated that the gift will aid their quick recovery after 30 days family.
