Ogun state governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has assured that the Ojodu-Denro-Ishasi-Oke Aro, Ajuwon-Alagbole- Akute- Agbado road in Ifo local government of timely completion.
Governor Abiodun who gave the assurance while inspecting the 32 kilometre road, said the reconstruction which has already started from ojodu would soon be extended to other areas that are in deplorable conditions .
According to him, road rehabilitation and construction are very significant to his administration not only to minimize the challenges of users but to improve the socio-economic activities of the state.
Abiodun explained that the reason behind the visit was to assess the level of damage done to the road and to profer necessary solutions
The governor also disclosed that his administration since inception has constructed over 600 kilometres of road in the twenty local governments in the state noting that major roads in the state had been neglected by previous administrations which he said led to the current challenges being faced by the state.
He also promised that very soon, Giwa road at oke aro will be awarded to contractor for reconstruction.
He also assured residents of oke-aro of rehabilitation of the old primary health centre in the locality, urging them to provide a land space for the construction of a new primary health centre, that will accommodate more people for quality healthcare delivery.
