As Public Primary Schools across the Ogun State began the unified examination, teachers and learners have been commended for maintaining decorum and orderliness.
Executive Chairman of the Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Femi Majekodunmi gave the commendation during a monitoring exercise to Imeko-Afon Local Government Primary School, Idi-Ayin.
Dr. Majekodunmi stated that the inspection was imperative to ascertain the level of preparedness, including logistics and other arrangements, charging the school Headteacher to ensure proper management and effective use of resources.
He advised parents to always look after their wards, ensure a cleaner environment to prevent them from contracting diseases and provide adequate training that would nurture them as future leaders.
In her remarks, Headteacher of the school, Mr. Olorunsogo Adekunle lauded the government for providing an enabling environment for teaching and learning, noting that the examination was seamless.
Other schools visited include, Baptist Primary School, Olorunda, Abeokuta North Local Government, St. Augustine’s RCM Primary School, Imeko, among others.
