Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has appealed to youths in the State and in the country to shelve their planned mass protest and embrace dialogue with government.
Governor abiodun made the call in his office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta during an engagement with the coalition of youth organizations in the state.
He appealed to youths in the state to remain calm and channel their grievances through dialogue.
The visitors came to commend the state governor for his developmental strides and to intimate him of the need to further cement youth engagement and inclusion in his government.
The state chairman national youth council, Kola Soremi and leaders of ogun youth assembly appealed for the need to have a commissioner for youth as well as constant engagement with the youth constituency on various areas of socio economic development.
While appreciating the youth organisations for demostrating the spirit of ogun standard, Abiodun called on the youths coalition to always engage him by putting their burning issues in front of him while urging them to be civil,objective and constructive in their criticisms.
