The Special Adviser to the Governor of Ogun State on Primary and Secondary Education, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo has charged primary school leavers in the State to be good ambassadors and work smart for them to have desired development.
Mrs. Soyombo who gave this charge in Sagamu during the Year 2023/2024 Primary Six Graduation & Prize Giving Day Ceremony of St. Paul’s Anglican School I, Makun, organised by Alice Aniebo Soile Education Foundation noted that for young people to be successful in life, they must be focused, have a goal and be smart with their choice of career.
She added that any child that aspire 21st Century success, such must be determined, create values and avoid distractions of any form, saying pupils engagement in social vices world not only spell doom for him or her, but poses great danger on the society.
The Governor’s Aide said “Have a goal as individual in life, engage yourself in good things, think on how to develop your business and stay focused in life, then your success is sure”
Earlier in her opening remarks, the Headteacher of the School, Mrs. Bamitale Oluseye expressed her gratitude to the Special Adviser for the special love for children, saying the lives of learners have improved due to her motherly congratulations to education in the State.
Speaking, a prominent indigene of Sagamu, Prof. Tunde Ogunsanwo called on people to join hands with the present government in Ogun State to future provide qualitative education for the learners, saying if children are well educated, people will enjoy peaceful co-existence.
Appreciating the government for securing the lives of the future generation with laudable initiatives, the donor of the awards, Shepherd Tunde Soile said the generosity was to honour his mother who had dedicated her life for children success.
Speaking on behalf of other Pupils, the Headboy of the school, Seyi Oyeniran and the Headgirl, Adesewa Ogunnaike expressed happiness for the goodies bestowed on them.
