260 Trainees Graduate from Ogun State Women Development Center

In a significant milestone under the 2023/2024 training program, 260 trainees have graduated from the Ogun State Women Development Center.

Part of the Centre’s socio-economic responsibility to enhance the livelihood of women and out-of-school youth in Ogun State.

The Centre, recognized for its commitment to empowering women and youths, operates under the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development. This year’s graduates have completed various vocational programs designed to provide practical, marketable skills essential for economic growth.

During the graduation ceremony, the Commissioner for the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Honourable Motunrayo Adeleye, encouraged the new graduates to continue seeking knowledge, improving their skills, and striving for excellence. “This training is not just about acquiring skills; it is about empowering yourselves and creating opportunities for others,” she remarked.

The new trainees expressed their gratitude to the Ogun State Government for the opportunity to equip themselves for greater achievements in life. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of gifts to the best-graduating trainees, accompanied by other celebratory activities.
