260 Trainees Graduate from Ogun State Women Development Center

A significant milestone was reached at the Ogun State Women Development Center, Abeokuta, as 260 trainees graduated under the 2023/2024 training program. The graduation ceremony underscored the center’s commitment to improving the livelihoods of women and out-of-school youth in Ogun State.

the center’s socio-economic responsibilities are geared towards empowering individuals with practical, marketable skills essential for economic growth. The program is part of the broader policy objectives of the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.

The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Honourable Motunrayo Adeleye, urged the new graduates to continually seek knowledge, improve their skills, and never settle for mediocrity. “This training is not just about acquiring skills but about empowering yourselves and creating opportunities for others,” she emphasized.

The ceremony featured various upsounds, including the Commissioner’s remarks and testimonials from the new trainees, who expressed their gratitude to the Ogun State government for the opportunity to enhance their skills for greater achievements in life.

The event concluded with the presentation of gifts to the best graduating trainees, amid other celebrations, marking a successful end to the training program.
