Ogun State Governor Approves Reconstruction of Magboro-Makogi Road

Magboro, Ogun State – In a move aimed at boosting infrastructure development, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has approved the reconstruction of the 8.17-kilometer Magboro-Makogi Road in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area.

The governor made this announcement during the flag-off ceremony for the 2024 Rice Harvesting Season, held at Igboko village in Magboro. He noted that the road’s reconstruction is crucial to enhancing accessibility and fostering further development in the area.

Governor Abiodun also revealed the state government’s plan to allocate around 2,000 hectares of land in the Magboro axis for rice cultivation, underscoring his administration’s commitment to expanding agricultural opportunities and improving infrastructure across the state.

The reconstruction of the Magboro-Makogi Road is expected to stimulate economic growth, open up rural communities, and provide better access to markets and social amenities for the people of the area.
