ABIODUN’S AIDE CHARGES STUDENTS ON PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo has advised learners to prepare themselves for personal development towards attaining their goals.

Soyombo gave the charge while monitoring schools in Abeokuta and Sagamu, identifying some of the parameters for personal developments to include, working hard and smart, reading ahead of time, target setting and obeying the regulations of the school.

Governor’s Aide enjoined students to desist from keeping companies with people who could jeopardise their glorious future, but rather move with people of like minds who could inspire them to achieve success in life. She pointed out that, a good child would always be a reference point of accomplishment to his parents and a pride of the Nation at large.

The Special Adviser frowns at some teachers who were not up to the task in the discharge of their duties, warning that indolence would not be allowed among the teaching force. She said government was determined to further promote and move the standard of education in the state to the world level.

She charged them to brace up and key themselves into the policy of the current administration in the State towards repositioning and revitalising the education sector across the State.

Schools visited were, Ijemo-Titun High School, Ibara, Abeokuta; Lisabi Grammar School, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta and Remo Divisional High School, Sagamu.
