GOV. ABIODUN VISITS LATE MAJOR AKINLADE COUNTRY HOME, SYMPATHISES WITH FAMILY.

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has sympathised with the Akinlade family on the demise of their patriarch, Major Mikail Akinlade, who was the father of the former Deputy Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Abdulkabir Akinlade, describing it as a big loss, not only to the entire family, but to the State in general.

Governor Abiodun stated this, while paying a condolence visit to the country home of the deceased, at Agosasa in Ipokia Local Government Area of the State, noting that the deceased’s exemplary life had reflected in the character of his children.

The Governor, represented by his deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, added that the late Major’s good character had impacted positively on the lives of others, who were not his relatives, just as he had contributed his quota to the development of his community.

“Papa was a leader, a devout Muslim and a man of integrity. I pray that Almighty Allah will comfort the family he left behind and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss”, he said.

In his short word of exhortation, the Chief Imam of Ipokia, Sheik Ibrahim Akanbi, enjoined all sympathisers to live a life worthy of emulation, be kind to the people around them and remain close to their creator, saying no one knows the appointed time that death would come.
