Rev. Adetayo Adedina has been described as a man whose unwavering commitment and dedication to the growth of the church is worthy of emulation .
The Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya made this known in his remark at the 70th birthday thanksgiving and retirement service of Rev. Samuel Adetayo Adedina held at the Foursquare Gospel Church, Abeokuta District Headquarters ,Ita Iyalode, Abeokuta.
He said the celebrant is a man of integrity and an embodiment of virtues , added that he is also a spiritual father that gave all to the divine assignment and the people of God.
He appreciated God for his attainment of 70 years on earth and prayed for continuous blessing and sustainance of God upon him.
Ministering on the topic “Moment of Gratitude and Gladness” Rev. Joel Ogunsola from the National Office of Foursquare Gospel Church, Nigeria said the essence of the gathering is to assess the past and appraise the future .
He urged the congregation to have a clean sense of swiftness of time and make good use of it, work for something significant to leave a worthy legacy behind and have a great sense of satisfaction..
Earlier in his welcome address , the chairman of the organising committee, Rev Ibikunle Onasanya said that the celebrant has not only served God with integrity but also demonstrated a remarkable ability to bring out the best in others.
The celebrant thanked God for the opportunity given to him life despite his humble beginnings and thanked all his spiritual fathers and families for celebrating him.
The wife, brother and one of the children extol the virtues of their father and wish well in his retirement.
