Samuel Chukwueze has joined English Premier League side Fulham on a season-long loan from AC Milan, teaming up with his compatriots, Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, at Craven Cottage.
Chukwueze moved on an initial loan with an option to buy, which is not mandatory.
According to Italian transfer expert, the total package could reach a fee of over €25m.
The 26-year-old completed his medical at the club’s training ground on Monday, before jetting out to Nigeria for the World Cup qualifiers.
Chukwueze joined Milan from Spanish club Villarreal during the 2023 summer transfer window for a deal worth €20m, but has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter at the Italian giants over two seasons.
The Nigeria international endured a mixed 2024/25 campaign, making 26 appearances with just nine starts in Serie A, accumulating a total of 918 minutes whilst contributing three goals and two assists.
This season, he has only played one game for Milan, a 26-minute feature against Cremonese in their league opener.
The Nigerian was linked with a move to Fulham in January, but the deal fell through.
Chukwueze still has three years remaining on his existing contract at the San Siro, having made four goals and five assists in 51 league appearances for the Rossoneri since his arrival.
A move to Fulham represents a fresh start for Chukwueze in the Premier League, where his pace and direct style could be better suited to English football’s demands.
