Two hundred and fifty persons with disabilities and disabled veterans from the military and police force have received two hundred thousand naira each through the Renewed Hope Initiative Economic Empowerment Programme, an initiative of the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
This was during the 2025 commemoration of the World Disability Day, which was held simultaneously across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
