Ogun Head of Service Congratulates New NUJ Exco
The Ogun State head of service, Kehinde Onasanya has congratulated the chairman of the state Council of the Nigeria union of journalists, comrade wale Olanrewaju on his re-election into office.
Onasanya equally congratulated other members of the new executive committee for getting another three years to run the affairs of the Ogun NUJ.
In a statement, onasanya described the renewed mandate as a validation of the trust reposed in their leadership which resulted from the steady progress and achievements recorded during the past three years in Office.
He however notes that this fresh tenure offers a valuable opportunity for the team to consolidate on the gains achieved earlier and to deepen the impact of their work across the Council.
He advised that it is important to approach the next phase with a spirit of inclusion and collaboration urging the new exco to reach out to the other team that contested in the election with the aim of strengthening unity within the Union and enhancing collective purpose.
