All public and private primary and secondary schools, as well as government technical colleges in Ogun State, are to resume for the second term of the 2025/2026 academic session on Monday, 5th January 2026. This is in line with the approved Ogun State Government academic school calendar.
According to a release by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Abayomi Arigbabu, schools are expected to commence academic activities immediately. Professor Arigbabu advised parents and guardians to prepare their wards for the resumption.
