The Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu has clamoured for a people that will continue to make growth and socio-economic transformation, their watch word in other to create an evolving society that is filled with developmental initiative.
Prof. Arigbabu made this statement during a day workshop organised by the Ministry in collaboration with Ogun State Skills Fund for key stakeholders in the sector, saying the only way to sustain the tremendous transformation the State education sector has undergone in the present administration was for subsequent government that would come after this to build on it.
Arigbabu charged stakeholders to take advantage of the workshop and embrace the new waves of technological innovations and initiatives of the present government, adding that, deliberate efforts should be made to cascade it to others, so as to make it sustainable.
The Commissioner recalled that the present administration’s had remodeled the 8 Technical Colleges across the State to make teaching and learning process conducive, revealing that solid arrangement had been made to fully furnish them with modern equipment which would foster smooth transfer of knowledge.

Speaking, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mrs. Oluwatosin Oloko enjoined participants to ensure that they put into adequate use the knowledge that would be gained in the workshops in their day to day activities, adding that self-development would also help in improving their service delivery.
In his presentation, the resources person who doubled as Skills Development Consultant of the Ogun State Skills Fund, Engr. Adesegun Fatoki, hinted that Ogun
State was the only Certiport Accredited Centre and National Skills Qualification (NSQ) Awarding Body in the country.
